Western Australia is gearing up for WA Bike Month 2024 this October

Western Australia is gearing up for WA Bike Month 2024 this October, celebrating the benefits of bike riding for all ages and abilities. With over 30 years of history, this event features hundreds of activities across the state, supported by $75,000 in grants.

A highlight will be the closing festival at Kings Park on October 27, featuring bike games, workshops, and family activities.

The State Government has invested over $600 million since 2017 to improve cycling infrastructure, making active travel safer and more accessible. WA Bike Month is organized by the Department of Transport and WestCycle.

"As well as being the perfect opportunity for people of all ages and abilities to ride a bike for the first time or reacquaint themselves with all the benefits that riding has to offer, the hosted events will help to support community organisations all over the State." - Minister Rita Saffioti.
